Overview
The ZM401 weight indicator is fully programable, designed for a wide range of simple food processing and industrial weighing applications that require advanced weighing routines and a higher level of connectivity.
The ZM401 weight indicator features a small Graphic Array display to the right of the main screen, making it ideal for displaying simple graphics or symbols to assist the operator. Its versatility allows it to support both single and dual base platforms, whether analog or digital. Encased in a durable IP69K stainless steel enclosure, it includes an IBN weight display, and a simpered keypad overlay for safety and simplicity.
Each ZM401 Weight Indicator features:
A high contrast, 7-digit nine segments 0.8″ (20mm) high digits IBN display provides excellent color contrast and enhanced viewing angles. There is also a small side Graphic Array display area that can be used to display various fixed and customizable annunciators/graphics to aid operators.
With its 10v excitation and 10,000d legal for trade approval, the ZM401 is suitable for any single or dual base system, making it perfect for businesses that trade by weight. It is designed to connect up to most analog truck scales, bench scales, floor scales and hopper systems. This indicator can drive two scales with up to 16 x 350-ohm load cells or up to two BSQ bases. It is approved for use in a wide range of global regions (NTEP /Measurement in Canada, UK/EC/OIML).
The ZM401 can hold one option card internally and an additional two externally with the aid of an option exaction card to provide more flexibility. The options cards that can be used are:

Severe Transient Voltage Suppressor (STVS)
The ZM401 Indicator offers multi-connectivity, ensuring compatibility and communication between old and new peripheral technologies.
An Ethernet port is included as standard, two RS232 serial interface ports provide data transfer to older equipment and a USB host port facilitates communication with printer or keyboard and data transfer via a USB storage device.
USB device, Current Loop, RS485/ RS422, and Ethernet wireless options are also available as option cards.
