Designed for accurate weight monitoring, data collection and cloud-based data storage, the ZM220 Signal Processor offers the same features and fictions found in a normal ZM223 Weight Indicator without the display. Designed to easily mount inside a control cabinet and controlled remotely from a PC, PLC or portable tablet.

Perfect for controlling processes remotely with the use of its built in Web browser page that can display accurate live weight while recording other weight data in the background from a PC that is on the same network as the ZM220. Simplify weighing at an affordable cost.

ZM220 Signal Processor features:

The DC‑powered ZM220 Signal Processor is housed in a compact stainless‑steel enclosure with removable wire terminals, making it ideal for installation inside control cabinets using the provided mounting holes or an optional DIN‑rail kit. With built‑in Ethernet connectivity, it allows fast, easy access from any PC on the same network. The integrated web browser provides accurate live weight readings and full access to the wide range of functions, features, and UDF fields found across all ZM220 signal processors.

Simple yet highly capable, the ZM220 is a fully programmable signal processor that delivers ZM223‑level performance without a display. It can be easily configured to meet a wide range of process requirements and comes standard with a General Weighing application, providing extensive features and functionality right out of the box.

The ZM220 is equipped with a comprehensive selection of communication options, enabling reliable weight data capture and control from virtually any location. Standard features include six I/O setpoints, RS‑232, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth® connectivity, as well as cloud support and industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP for complete PLC integration.

The ZM220 is also compatible with a wide range of dedicated ZM223 applications, offering additional flexibility when required.

The ZM220 Signal Processor can connect directly to cloud database servers using secure HTTPS or MQTT protocols, making it ideal for applications that require centralized, protected data management. Fully programmable in Lua, it offers a flexible platform for remotely controlling and monitoring processes from anywhere.

The ZM220 comes standard with a built‑in Bluetooth® communication port that seamlessly integrates with the Avery Weigh‑Tronix Remote Assist™ mobile app, enabling remote monitoring and control of the signal processor. Remote Assist™ allows operators to view key information and manage the indicator from a distance while also entering additional data that standard indicators cannot accommodate. This makes it ideal for applications requiring customer names and addresses, invoice or batch numbers, and other critical data to be included on printed tickets or labels.

Ideal for remote, unmanned applications, the ZM220 Signal Processor can be configured to monitor processes and automatically email alerts when preset weight targets are reached or known faults occur. This ensures operators are promptly informed when a silo or hopper reaches its target weight or when a process is nearing completion.
