A Glimpse into Avery Weigh-Tronix Manufacturing

Inside Avery Weigh-Tronix Manufacturing

With a unique history and decades of experience, Avery Weigh-Tronix continues to prove that manufacturing excellence drives innovation and growth. We have always taken pride in our production processes. Take a look at our newest video where our General Manager, Andrea Issendorf, will walk you through what makes our manufacturing processes different.

W&T Avery was founded back in the 1730s in Digbeth Birmingham, England. W&T Avery made high-quality industrial and commercial scales for use throughout England and the UK. Some 240 years later, Weigh-Tronix was founded in 1979 in Armstrong, Iowa, before moving to Fairmont, Minnesota, USA. Weigh-Tronix started as a weigh bar (loadcell) manufacturer for agricultural products before expanding into different fields like truck scales, deck/platform scales, and scale accessories.

History of Avery Weigh-Tronix

Avery and Weigh-Tronix merged in 2000, becoming Avery Weigh-Tronix, and then was acquired by ITW in 2007 as part of the Test & Measurement Group. Joining ITW has been a phenomenal opportunity for Avery Weigh-Tronix to grow with the support of an internationally recognized organization.

A Look into the Future
