Avery Weigh-Tronix’s SmarTAccess FASTag-Based Vehicle Identification Solution provides access management for weighbridge operations by leveraging FASTag technology, a radio-frequency identification (RFID) system widely used for electronic toll collection & parking, in India.

Designed for industries such as Metals, Logistics, Mining,Construction, Manufacturing,Agro Industries and Food and Drink, SmarTAccess enhances security, eliminates manual intervention, and boosts operational efficiency. Integrated with Avery’s Weighing Intelligence platform, it ensures seamless vehicle identification for both Unmanned Weighbridge Systems and Manned Weighbridge Systems.


SmarTAccess replaces traditional RFID cards with FASTag, using fixed or portable readers to capture unique vehicle identifiers and retrieve registration details via Avery Cloud or local databases. This eliminates errors and fraud associated with RFID card interchanges, ensuring the vehicle entering the premises matches the one weighed. Supporting single and double-tower configurations, SmarTAccess is compatible with new or existing weighbridges, offering a scalable, secure and efficient solution for modern weighbridge automation.

Utilizes FASTag’s unique code to identify vehicles with high accuracy, eliminating the need for RFID cards and preventing intentional or unintentional card swapping.

Retrieves vehicle registration details from Avery Cloud or local databases via fixed/portable RFID readers, with data cached locally for faster subsequent verifications.

Ensures the vehicle entering the premises matches the one weighed, reducing malpractice. Logs all identification events for robust audit trails and regulatory compliance.

Supports single and double-tower setups for unmanned and manned  weighbridges, with optional portable readers for enhanced flexibility.
