Overview
A static broad-gauge railway wagon weighing system for weighing individual wagons in coupled or un-coupled condition is an ideal weighing system for Indian rail wagons
The system is comprised of two successive pit mounted weighbridge platforms, designed specifically to accommodate the most commonly used standard 4 and 8 wheeler goods wagons of the Indian Railways.
The platforms can be used either together or independently depending on the length / type of the wagon.
High-capacity rail scale with overload bearing capability
The 54ER is designed for combined weighing capacity up to 100 tons. However, it is designed to withstand the passage of Indian Railways standard 180 ton locomotives.
The maximum permissible shunting speed over the platforms is 8 km/h.
The 54ER weighbridge system is supplied with an easy to read digital weight indicator, with connectivity for data transfer and peripheral devices such as PCs and printers.
