To carry out repairs, installations and alterations to all electrical equipment and wiring systems and any related work as required, ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors.
Uses a working knowledge of electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems. Commercial Electrical installation, including lighting, heating, security/Alarms, 3 phase and single, HV/LV, to a standard where maintainability is sustainable, while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults/code violations for commercial and industrial electrical systems, including fault-finding, installing and monitoring
Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial installation and ensure installations are compliant with current building service regulatory standards, including fire alarms and security systems
Replace faulty and/or aging electrical systems, such as lighting, power, heating systems and alarmed systems.
Ensure good quality workmanship maintaining the organisations continual improvement process, complying with The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018) Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work to be undertaken.
To observe and comply with all Company policies including but not limited to Health and Safety, Company Vehicle, Ethics, Principles & Conduct, IT, email & internet usage and all others policies and procedures in accordance with Company Standards and the employment relationship
To comply with the Company’s Expenses Policy and submit expenses on a regular basis for approval
It is likely that, from time to time, the occupant may find themselves working extended hours or possibly on the weekends. The position requires an enthusiastic, committed manager with a flexible approach in order to meet the demands of the role.

Possess and demonstrates a sound working knowledge of the following:
IEE regulations supported with City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications, and inspection and testing certificate (2391)
Electrotechnical qualification (Plant and Asset controllers)
Familiarity with NICEIC requirements
ECS Card holder
Valid IPAF Licence required

General Comments:
This role will be based in the UK at the Foundry Lane office. The individual should be prepared to work “out of hours” rota (1 in 4) and it is preferred that a clean Full Drivers licence is held.
