For DS Smith, uptime is a critical part of running a smooth operation, with more waste being recycled than ever before, their nine depots located across the UK are in constant use, with their weighbridges playing a pivotal role in the operation. All waste entering the site is weighed in, which allows DS Smith to charge effectively for waste removal, to report on waste samples, and to ensure they get the most out of the products they recycle.
With weighing being such a critical element of DS smith’s operation, the BridgeCare Total agreement offers an uptime guarantee of 97%. If Avery Weigh-Tronix fails to meet their 97% uptime guarantee, they will refund a proportion of the annual premium.
