The VC3500 is a double ended shear beam stainless steel load cell, with a robust mounting accessory, which incorporates lift off prevention and jacking bolts* for routine maintenance and calibration.

Available in a range of capacities, from 5t to 200t, VC3500 load cells are especially suitable for high capacity silo, tank and vessel weighing.

What capacities are available?

VC3500 capacity now includes 2,000KG, 5,000KG, 7,500KG, 10,000KG, 15,000KG, 20,000KG, 30,000KG, 50,000KG, 100,000KG, 150,000KG and 200,000KG.

Is this an OIML approved product?

This is not an OIML approved product, so instead of quoting resolution of 6,000d, we quote Combined Error < ± 0.03 % at full load.

Common industries VC3500 are used in include cement, food, minerals, chemicals, plastics, pharmaceutical, paint, biomass and offshore, where large tanks or vessels are widely used.

How are VC3500 constructed?

For excellent accuracy and repeatability, each critical sensor element is manufactured from high tensile 17-4 PH stainless steel and form into a double ended shear beam that is fully welded and heat treated to give a high ultimate tensile strength. This heat treatment provides an extremely stable platform for the strain gauges. Each load cell is environmentally sealed by TIG welding stainless steel diaphragms in position. Together with a high quality cable gland, allows a 5 year warranty on the complete unit.

Is the VC3500 easy to maintain?

Built-in jacking bolts on VC3500 with capacities up to 75t allows for simple installation and routine maintenance. The lift-off protection on the complete VC3500 weighing assembly reduces the need in many cases for additional restraints.
