The package is designed for ease of use by the end user and enables information entry, processing and reporting by your entire workforce, from managers and supervisors, to ordering personnel, stock room, and accounts staff. 

Product management

Eureka offers secure control of scale product information from the back office, enabling rapid price changes on the scales. All product entry and pricing controls are based on easy-to manage wizards with built-in margin calculators. The product page provides a quick graphical snapshot of the last 10 weeks sales so you can easily understand the performance of your products. Individual product attributes can also include sell by/best before information, beef labelling schemes, recipe information and cooking instructions.

Stock Management

The stock management solution provides full stock taking functionality with the capability to upload all stock counted using mobile handheld units (use of mobile handheld units requires an additional software module). Automated uploads from the scale can save many hours of manual entry. Spot stock checks can be made at any time by area, supplier or department for up-to-the minute accuracy.

The package also provides full order processing with goods inwards and supplier invoice systems. The reporting mechanisms can also automatically report on margin loss due to supplier price increases. The warehousing system provides bin numbers for all products, together with picking reports allowing easy restocking of the shop especially when handheld barcode scanners are used.

 
Reporting

A key aspect of running a business is understanding the performance of every aspect of the shop’s operation. Eureka offers a flexible reporting mechanism by extracting sales figures from the counter scales. The reports produced can be tabular or graphical and can even be extracted to Excel. For added convenience, information retrieval can be automated to run at a scheduled time after closure of the shop. The software package provides secure access to daily sales information performance reports by nominal departments suited to your existing accounting structures. The system will produce a range of parameterised tabular reports, charts & graphs which can detail sales, stock levels, prices, margins and much more. Individual reports are also available by department sales, related margins, or by an individual supplier’s performance.
