Size matters – but so does the weight!   Avery Weigh-Tronix at Subpostmaster 2006

Avery Weigh-Tronix is showing its FX140 combined letter and parcel scale which can be used with the new trade-approved Pricing in Proportion (PiP) template.  There will also be a wide range of retail scales and receipt / label printers on show plus a special show discount of 10% will be available off the standard price is of all orders placed at the show.  As a further bonus all visitors to the stand will also be entered into a free prize draw to win an FX140.

The Royal Mail will launch PiP in August this year and Avery Weigh-Tronix is manufacturing the templates and installing them into all UK Post Office branches.   Letter weight as well as size continues to be an important factor in determining the price to pay, so visitors can see how the FX140’s simple operation can help save time and reduce queues when used in conjunction with the PiP template.

The FX140 can weigh all types of mail, from air letters through to 30-kilogram parcels.    It offers high-accuracy digital weighing and as a single scale serving two counter positions, can help increase available counter space. 

This scale can link with up to two Horizon terminals and can integrate with the new ‘smart post’ software for faster weighing.
